Are Vario by VELUX bespoke rooflights CE marked?
Yes, all Vario by VELUX rooflights are CE marked and have a specific Declaration of Performance per each product. To retrieve your product specific Declaration of Performance, please follow this link and type in your specific product code. The product code can either be found in our Build your own configurator or at your product’s type sign, which is located on the interior lining of your rooflight.
Do the Vario by VELUX bespoke rooflights open for natural ventilation?
Almost all of the products (Rectangular One, Square One, Long Slim One and Unlimited One) can be fitted with an actuator or a dual actuator for natural ventilation. Opening rooflights cannot be configured below 600mm. Feel free to configure your own opening rooflight in our Build your own configurator.
Can I get VELUX ACTIVE when I buy a Vario by VELUX rooflight?
Yes. It can be purchased for all opening rooflights for the price of £192,00 ex. VAT by calling us +44 (0) 1592 778 246. VELUX ACTIVE is compatible with all VELUX Integra® products.
Can I get blinds for my windows?
Yes. We offer Bespoke Roller Blinds for our Rooflights.
Our Bespoke Roller blind provides both light dimming and privacy, making it the perfect choice for dining spaces, living rooms, home offices and playrooms.

Are Vario by VELUX rooflights available in bespoke frame colours?
Yes. Vario by VELUX offers a standard Jet black (RAL9005/30) and Traffic Grey (RAL9005/30) frame colours, which you can apply to your rooflight using our Build your own configurator.
Do the rooflights have any flashing details?
With all Vario by VELUX bespoke rooflights you will receive black flashings which are easily attached to the roofing material in order to avoid driving rain enter the rooflight construction.
Can I operate Vario by VELUX rooflights with my io-homecontrol®VELUX remote?
Yes. Vario by VELUX rooflights are fully compatible with VELUX io-homecontrol® & VELUX Active if you have purchased your Vario by VELUX rooflights starting with the 1st of November 2020. If you already have a Vario by VELUX opening rooflight, you can reach out to us to discuss how you can upgrade your control unit.
