An upstand is what keeps the rooflight off the roof surface. It is required by building regulations for safety and weathering. Our expertly crafted, made-to-measure upstands are composed of a high-quality blend of materials, including waterproof plywood and insulation material for exceptional energy efficiency.

All our upstands have an in-built moisture barrier, ensuring no diffusion of moisture through the wall, and eliminating the risk of condensation. They also feature a plasterboard connection, glass right to the edge on the inside, and a light-reflective RAL 9010 white colour on the inner. We have used all our years of experience to construct an upstand that is easily installed and provides the ultimate in both security and longevity.
